Draper MMA Inverter Welder - 200A - TIG-Lift

This welder supports MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding and TIG-Lift welding.

The amperage range is 20-200A.

The duty cycle is 60% at 200A and 100% at 160A.

The package includes an electrode holder (200A), an earth clamp (300A), a chipping hammer/wire brush, and a face mask.

It requires a 16A plug, which is not included.

VRD stands for Voltage Reduction Device. It is a safety feature that reduces the open-circuit voltage for enhanced user safety.

The dimensions are 340 x 135 x 235mm, and the net weight is 5.3kg.

The TIG-Lift function can be used for aluminum welding, but it requires the correct consumables (tungsten electrodes, shielding gas) and skill. For optimal aluminum welding performance, a dedicated TIG welder with AC output is recommended.

Check the power connection and the fuse in the plug. Make sure the power switch is in the 'on' position. If the problem persists, consult a qualified electrician.

Check the electrode and workpiece for cleanliness. Adjust the amperage setting. Ensure the earth clamp is securely connected. Check the electrode type and size for the material and thickness being welded.

Reduce the duty cycle. Clean the ventilation openings to remove dust and debris. Ensure that the welder is operating in a well-ventilated area.

Ensure the TIG torch is correctly connected and the gas supply is open. Check that the workpiece and electrode are clean. Verify the amperage settings are correct.

Check that the electrode is making contact with the work piece when initiating the arc. Make sure the electrode is not contaminated. Ensure the machine is properly grounded. Check the electrode holder connections for corrosion or damage.
