The mat is made from antibacterial, BPA-free, non-toxic, phthalate-free, and latex-free material, ensuring a healthy and safe bathing environment.

Can I use this mat on my tiled shower floor?

No, this mat is designed only for smooth, clean surfaces. It is not suitable for use on textured or tiled surfaces, as the suction cups will not adhere properly.

The mat is machine washable. You can place it in your washing machine on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and then air dry it completely.

Does the mat have a strong chemical smell?

How often should I check the suction cups?

Troubleshooting

Mat is not sticking to the surface

Ensure the shower/tub surface is perfectly clean, smooth, and wet. Check that suction cups are free of debris and press down firmly to engage each one. Do not use on textured or tiled surfaces.

Mat has a chemical smell

Rinse the mat thoroughly with water and allow it to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area. The smell should dissipate after a few uses.

Mat shows signs of mold or mildew

Clean the mat regularly by machine washing it. Ensure it is fully air-dried after each use and cleaning. Proper drying is crucial to prevent mold and mildew growth.

Mat slides or moves during use

This usually indicates the surface is not smooth enough or has not been cleaned properly. Re-clean the surface and ensure the mat is pressed down firmly, engaging all suction cups. Avoid using on non-compatible surfaces.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Provides excellent full coverage with its large 70x70cm size.
  • Offers enhanced safety due to hundreds of secure suction cups.
  • Made from healthy, non-toxic, antibacterial materials.
  • Easy to clean with machine washability.
  • Suitable for a variety of smooth-surface bathing areas.

Cons

  • Not suitable for use on textured or tiled surfaces.
  • Requires a clean and smooth surface for proper suction.
  • May require more frequent checking of suction cup adhesion than smaller mats.
  • Can be bulky to store when not in use due to its size.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: Before first use, rinse the mat with water. Ensure the shower floor or bathtub surface is completely clean, smooth, and free from any soap scum, oils, or debris. Press the mat firmly onto the surface, ensuring each suction cup makes contact to create a strong seal.

Compatibility: This mat is designed for use on smooth, non-textured surfaces only, such as acrylic or enamel bathtubs and flat shower floors. It is not suitable for use on textured tubs, shower stalls with grout lines, or tiled surfaces as the suction cups will not adhere properly.

Care: To clean, detach the mat and place it in a washing machine on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Allow the mat to air dry completely before placing it back in the shower or tub. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the material and suction cups. Ensure suction cups are checked for debris before each use.
