The Timberland Sprint Trekker Mid boots are designed with a premium nubuck and textile upper, which offers good water resistance against light rain or splashes. However, they are not fully waterproof and are not recommended for heavy downpours or submersion without additional waterproofing treatments.

For best results, use a specialized nubuck brush to gently remove loose dirt. For deeper cleaning, apply a nubuck-specific cleaner according to its instructions. Always test on a small, hidden area first. Avoid using regular leather cleaners or water directly, as this can damage the nubuck.

For optimal comfort and moisture management, we recommend wearing moisture-wicking athletic or hiking socks. Cotton socks can retain moisture, leading to discomfort and blisters, especially during active use.

These boots are excellent for light to moderate hiking trails and everyday casual wear. For very rugged, steep, or technical terrains, you might prefer a boot with more rigid ankle support and a more aggressive outsole design.

Timberland sizing is generally consistent. This pair is a UK 8.5. We recommend trying them on to ensure the best fit, especially if you plan to wear thicker socks. Your toes should have a little room to wiggle, and your heel should feel secure.
