Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Position the Belt: Wrap the Salomon Pulse Belt around your waist, ensuring it sits comfortably above your hips. The wider part of the belt typically goes across your lower back or stomach, depending on personal preference and where you carry more weight.
- Ensure Snug Fit: The stretch fabric should feel snug but not restrictive. It needs to be tight enough to prevent bouncing of carried items, but loose enough for comfortable breathing and movement. Adjust its position if necessary.
- Load Items Evenly: Distribute your items across the belt's various pockets. Placing heavier items towards the back or evenly across the front can help maintain balance and reduce movement.
Compatibility
The Pulse Belt is designed to securely hold:
- Soft Hydration Flasks: It can accommodate small soft flasks (typically up to 500ml) in dedicated stretch pockets.
- Smartphones: Most standard and larger smartphones will fit into the main stretch pockets.
- Personal Items: Keys, small wallets, energy gels, headlamps, and other compact essentials.
Care
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Salomon Pulse Belt:
- Washing: Hand wash with cold water and a mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or fabric softeners, as these can degrade the stretch fabric.
- Drying: Air dry the belt completely before storing. Do not tumble dry, iron, or expose to direct heat, as this can damage the material.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
