Our monkeytail stays offer our most traditional style, taking inspiration from original 18th century design. Features: Designed to match the monkeytail window furniture. Available in three different sizes. Supplied with matching SS wood screws. Our Aged Brass products are made from solid, unlacquered brass and are intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design. This rich colour offers a beautiful contrast against the repolished surface areas, offering an abundance of charm and character perfect for any period dwelling. Overall Length: 336mm, Stay Arm: 313mm, Fixing Plate: 45mm x 16mm. This product is cast from very high quality solid brass and is given a unique antique look in its finish. The finish has been treated to speed up the natural tarnishing process which produces the antique feel of the product. It is burnished making it smooth in appearance and is used as an alternative finish where a highly polished surface is not desired. Dimensions for 8": Overall Length: 238mm, Fixing Plate: 45mm x 16mm, Stay Arm 217mm. Dimensions for 10": Overall Length: 288mm, Fixing Plate: 45mm x 16mm, Stay Arm 266mm. Dimensions for 12": Overall Length: 336mm, Fixing Plate: 45mm x 16mm, Stay Arm 313mm. The finish is un-lacquered, will tarnish naturally causing the aged patina to darken with time (a semi gloss finish can be achieved by using Brasso). Sold in singles, complete with quality fixing screws and pins.
