Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all chairs and their components from the packaging. Verify all parts are present, including chair seats, legs, and any necessary hardware (screws, wrench).
- Attach Legs: For each chair, align the designated legs with the mounting points on the underside of the chair seat. Ensure the legs are oriented correctly.
- Secure Fasteners: Using the provided hardware, securely attach the legs to the seat. It is often recommended to hand-tighten all screws initially, then fully tighten them once all legs are in place to ensure even seating and stability.
- Test Stability: Once assembled, gently rock the chair to ensure it is stable and all connections are tight. Adjust if necessary.
Compatibility
These dining chairs are designed to be compatible with most standard dining tables, typically those ranging from 75cm to 80cm in height. Their armless design allows them to tuck neatly under tables, saving space. They can also seamlessly integrate into living rooms, bedrooms, or home offices as comfortable accent chairs due to their versatile and modern aesthetic.
Care
- Flannel Upholstery: For general cleaning, use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner with an upholstery attachment to remove dust and loose debris. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild fabric cleaner specifically designed for upholstery, testing first on an inconspicuous area.
- Steel Frame: Wipe the steel frame with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust or smudges. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Foot Pads: Periodically check the foot pads to ensure they are intact and securely attached. Replace if worn to continue protecting your floors.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading of the fabric. Position chairs away from direct sun if possible.
