The gilet provides excellent lightweight insulation, ideal for moderate cold or as a layering piece. For extreme cold, it is best worn under a heavier outer shell.

The gilet features a water-repellent finish, which is effective against light rain or moisture. It is not designed for prolonged exposure to heavy rain.

Down consists of the soft, fluffy undercoating of birds, providing superior insulation. Feathers have a quill and are less insulating but add structure and volume. The blend optimizes warmth and loft.

Store it in a breathable garment bag or loosely folded in a dry place. Avoid storing it compressed in a vacuum-sealed bag, as this can damage the down's loft.

This can occasionally happen with down products. Gently pull the feather back inside from the fabric rather than pulling it out. If excessive, contact customer support.

This may be due to moisture. Ensure the gilet is completely dry after washing or exposure to humidity. Follow drying instructions carefully.

Ensure the fabric is not caught in the zipper. Apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil tip) or a silicone-based zipper lubricant to the teeth.
