Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your boots last for several seasons, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Initial Protection: Apply a leather-appropriate waterproofing spray before your first wear to enhance the existing Top-Dry Tex protection.
- Cleaning: After use in mud or salt, wipe the leather with a soft, damp cloth to remove debris. Avoid submerging the boots in water.
- Conditioning: Use a leather conditioner every few months to prevent the material from drying out or cracking.
- Drying: If the boots become soaked, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can damage the leather.
