FAQs
Are these suitable for everyday walking?
The Divecat Dry slides offer comfort for casual wear and short durations. They are best suited for activities like lounging, post-exercise recovery, or around the pool, rather than long walks due to limited arch support.
How do I determine my UK size?
Refer to the PUMA sizing chart available with product details or on the PUMA website. Generally, convert your standard shoe size to the corresponding UK adult foot size.
Can I wear these in the shower?
Yes, the water-resistant and quick-drying nature of the Divecat Dry makes them suitable for use in damp environments like showers or around swimming pools.
How should I clean them?
Clean using a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Rinse with clean water and allow them to air dry completely. Avoid machine washing or drying.
What is the main difference between Divecat Dry and other Divecat models?
The 'Dry' designation typically emphasizes the quick-drying properties of the material, making them particularly suitable for wet environments compared to models that might prioritize different features.
Do these slides offer good grip?
They offer standard grip for casual slides. While suitable for poolside and light indoor use, extreme caution is advised on very wet, smooth surfaces where slipping could occur.
Troubleshooting
Slides feel too tight or loose.
Check the size guide to ensure you have selected the correct UK size. Consider if your foot width is typical for the unisex fit.
Material feels stiff initially.
Wear the slides for short periods to allow them to conform to your foot shape. The material should soften with use.
Soles feel slippery on wet surfaces.
While water-resistant, the grip may vary on extremely slick surfaces. Exercise caution when walking on wet tiles or smooth, wet floors.
