Setup

1. Choose Location: Select a sturdy wall indoors or outdoors that can support the unit and the weight of wet laundry. Ensure there's a suitable opposing point for the line hook.
2. Mount the Unit: Securely attach the Vileda Cordomatic unit to the chosen wall using appropriate fixings (Info needed: Check if fixings are included, otherwise purchase suitable screws/plugs for your wall type). The unit measures H17.5, W16, D5cm when retracted.
3. Extend and Secure Line: Pull the line out to the desired length.
4. Lock the Line: Once extended, wrap the line around the integrated hook or a separate wall hook (if provided/needed) to secure it, then engage the locking mechanism (usually a simple pull and slight twist or a toggle switch).
5. Retract: When finished, release the lock and guide the line gently back into the unit to prevent tangles.

Compatibility

• Indoor Use: Suitable for utility rooms, bathrooms, or other indoor spaces with adequate ventilation.
• Outdoor Use: Designed to withstand outdoor conditions, making it perfect for gardens, patios, and balconies. Ensure it's mounted in a location that allows for full line extension and air circulation.

Care

• Clean the Line: Periodically wipe the line with a damp cloth to remove any accumulated dirt or dust, especially if used outdoors frequently.
• Retract When Not in Use: Always retract the line into its casing when drying is complete. This protects the line from UV damage, dirt, and keeps it clean for the next use.
• Avoid Overloading: Do not exceed the 15kg drying capacity to prevent undue strain on the line and mounting.
• Check Mounting: Periodically inspect the wall mounting for any signs of loosening or wear to ensure continued safety and stability.
