Setup, Compatibility & Care
First-Time Use & Adjustment
- Unpack: Carefully remove shoes from packaging.
- Adjust Ankle Strap: Fasten the ankle strap's buckle, ensuring it's snug but not too tight. You should be able to slide one finger underneath the strap comfortably. Too tight can restrict circulation; too loose risks instability.
- Break-In Period: Wear the shoes for short periods around the house before extended outings to allow the material to conform to your foot.
Compatibility
These beige court shoes are highly versatile. They pair well with business attire (skirts, trousers), casual wear (jeans, blazers), and semi-formal dresses (midi dresses). Their neutral colour makes them adaptable to most colour palettes.
Care & Maintenance (Faux Leather)
- Cleaning: Wipe down regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. For tougher marks, use a mild soap solution (e.g., dish soap diluted with water) on a cloth, then wipe clean with a fresh damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight, which can cause cracking.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, ideally in a shoe bag or box, to protect from dust and pressure that could alter their shape. Stuff with tissue paper to help maintain their form if storing for long periods.
- Scuffs: Minor scuffs on faux leather can sometimes be buffed out gently with a soft cloth or a specialized faux leather conditioner.
