Full details
The Comfort Sofia Gold Plush Divan Bed Set in Cream is designed for those seeking a blend of modern aesthetics and reliable support, ideal for guest rooms or everyday use. Its key benefit is the stable platform-top construction paired with a medium-firm mattress offering balanced comfort and pressure relief. A potential caveat is that the mattress is single-sided, requiring rotation rather than flipping, and is best suited for occasional use or lighter sleepers due to its open-coil spring system.

FAQs
What is the main benefit of the platform-top construction?
The platform-top construction offers a solid, even surface that provides consistent mattress support, prevents sagging, and helps distribute weight uniformly for a more stable sleep.
Do I need to flip the mattress?
No, this mattress is single-sided and designed not to be flipped. You should rotate it head-to-toe regularly to ensure even wear and consistent comfort.
What type of sleepers is this bed best suited for?
This bed is ideal for individuals seeking medium comfort with balanced support. The open-coil spring system is generally well-suited for occasional use, guest rooms, or lighter to average-weight sleepers.
How do I clean the fabric upholstery?
For the fabric, use a dry or slightly damp cloth for general dusting. For stains, use a specialized upholstery cleaner suitable for the fabric type (like Plush Velvet or Naples), always testing in an inconspicuous area first.
What is the warranty period for this bed set?
The Comfort Sofia Gold Plush Divan Bed Set comes with a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee.
Can I choose different fabric options?
Yes, the Sofia Gold range offers options in Plush Velvet, Naples, Coniston, or Dumfries fabrics, allowing you to tailor the bed to your interior style.
Does this bed set include storage drawers?
This specific model, the Comfort Sofia Gold Plush Divan Bed Set - Cream, does not include storage drawers. Variants with drawers are available separately.
Troubleshooting
Bed squeaks or makes noise
Ensure all bolts and connections on the divan base and headboard are tightened securely. Check that the mattress is sitting evenly on the platform top.
Uneven mattress support
Rotate the mattress head-to-toe. Ensure the divan base is on a level surface and that the gliders are adjusted evenly if possible.
Headboard is loose
Re-tighten the screws or bolts connecting the headboard struts to the divan base. Check for any obstructions or damage to the fixing points.
Fabric appears dirty
Spot clean the affected area with a mild upholstery cleaner. Test the cleaner on a hidden section first. For general cleaning, use a soft brush or vacuum attachment.
