The Salomon XT-6 Gore-Tex Safari adds sand-colored hues to the rugged Salomon silhouette. Originally designed as a trail running shoe, this sneaker has evolved to meet the needs of urban environments. Released to celebrate the XT-6 GTX’s 10th anniversary, the Safari Salomon XT-6 Gore-Tex features a waterproof membrane and an anti-debris mesh construction. Although the colorway is subtle, the tongue tag has a bright, multicolor design with hits of yellow, red, and blue. The Quicklace system allows for fast adjustments of the no-slip laces by squeezing the "S" button on the buckle. Another technical feature is the Agile Chassis midsole, which provides dual-density foam cushioning and absorbs impact. Finally, the Contagrip rubber outsole houses lugs that provide traction on rough terrains. The bold branding in black letters includes "SALOMON," "GORE-TEX," and "XT6." The Salomon XT-6 Gore-Tex Safari was released on January 27, 2024, and sold for $200.
