Care Instructions for Extended Life:
To ensure the longevity of your Ninja Extended Life Ceramic Frying Pan and to maintain its 5-year non-stick guarantee, follow these care guidelines:
- Low to Medium Heat: While the pan can handle higher temperatures, using low to medium heat for most cooking tasks will help preserve the non-stick coating over time. High heat should be used sparingly and only when necessary.
- Utensil Use: Always use silicone, wooden, or plastic utensils. Avoid metal utensils as they can scratch and damage the non-stick surface, voiding the guarantee.
- Cleaning: The pan is dishwasher safe for convenience. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or scouring pads, as these can harm the ceramic coating. There's no need to pre-soak or scrub vigorously.
- Storage: When storing pans nested, place a soft cloth or pan protector between them to prevent scratching the non-stick surface.
- Avoid Thermal Shock: Allow the pan to cool completely before washing. Submerging a hot pan in cold water can cause warping or damage to the non-stick coating.
