The lampshade can be swivelled so that it can be aligned as desired. The inside of the shade is white for optimum light reflection. The shade design of the Original 1227 Brass wall lamp, which was launched in 2014, is based on the well-known Anglepoise® work light, which was created by designer George Carwardine (1887-1948) and patented in 1932.
