The frequency depends on usage and environmental conditions. A good rule of thumb is to re-waterproof when water no longer beads up on the surface of the fabric, typically after several washes or significant wear.

H2OShield is a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish applied to the outer fabric of the jacket. It causes water to bead up and roll off, preventing the fabric from becoming saturated.
