Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unboxing: Carefully unbox all components. Due to the weight (133kg) and size, two people are highly recommended for handling and assembly to prevent injury and damage.
- Preparation: Choose a clear, spacious area for assembly. Lay out all parts and hardware. Familiarize yourself with the assembly instructions provided by the manufacturer.
- Assembly: Follow the step-by-step instructions. Do not overtighten screws. Ensure all connections are secure for stability.
- Placement: Once assembled, position the wardrobe against a solid wall. Consider using wall-anchoring straps (if supplied or recommended by manufacturer) to prevent tipping, especially in homes with children or pets.
Compatibility
Before purchase and assembly, carefully measure your room space. The wardrobe's dimensions are H183 x W230 x D52cm. Ensure there is enough clearance not only for the wardrobe itself but also for the doors to open fully without obstruction from other furniture, walls, or windows.
Care
- Cleaning the Gloss Finish: Regularly wipe the gloss white surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch or damage the finish. A microfiber cloth is excellent for preventing streaks and removing fingerprints.
- Drawer & Door Maintenance: Periodically check that door hinges and drawer runners are clean and free from debris. If drawers become stiff, a small amount of silicone lubricant applied to the runners can help.
- General Stability: Occasionally check all screws and fittings to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as necessary to maintain the wardrobe's structural integrity.
- Avoid Overloading: While spacious, avoid overloading shelves or hanging rails beyond reasonable limits, as this can cause warping or damage over time. Info needed: [Maximum weight capacity for shelves and rails].
