FAQs

Do I have to pay a monthly fee to see my data?

No, all features and data analytics within the RingConn app are available without any subscription.

How long does the battery last?

The RingConn Gen 3 provides up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge.

Is the ring waterproof?

Yes, the ring is designed to be water-resistant, making it safe for daily use such as washing hands or showering.

Can I wear it during high-intensity workouts?

Yes, the ring is durable enough for most workouts, though it is recommended to avoid contact with heavy metal gym equipment to prevent scratching the gold surface.

How do I know if the ring fits correctly?

The ring should feel secure and not rotate freely on your finger. It should slide over the knuckle with a bit of resistance.

Troubleshooting

The ring is not syncing data to the app

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the ring is sufficiently charged. Try toggling your phone's Bluetooth off and on, or restart the RingConn app.

Inconsistent health metrics

Verify that the ring is positioned correctly with the sensors facing the palm side of the finger. If it is too loose, try moving it to a different finger.

Vibration alerts are not working

Check the notification settings within the RingConn app to ensure the alerts are enabled and that the ring is within range of your paired device.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • No monthly subscription fees
  • Exceptional 14-day battery life
  • Compact and lightweight gold design
  • Advanced sleep and vascular monitoring

Cons

  • Requires precise finger sizing for best accuracy
  • Limited non-health related app integrations
  • Visible gold finish may scratch with heavy manual labor

Setup, Compatibility & Care

  1. Charging: Place the ring into the universal charging case and connect it to a power source until the LED indicator confirms a full charge.
  2. Pairing: Download the RingConn app on your smartphone, enable Bluetooth, and follow the on-screen instructions to link your device.
  3. Placement: Wear the ring on a finger where it fits snugly but can still slide over the knuckle. Avoid wearing it on fingers with large knuckles that may create gaps between the sensor and skin.
  4. Maintenance: Clean the inner surface of the ring daily with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove oils or skin cells that might obstruct the optical sensors. Avoid exposing the gold finish to harsh chemicals, abrasive surfaces, or high-impact activities.
