Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maintain the jacket's performance, proper care is essential. Always machine wash on a gentle cycle using a non-biological detergent to avoid stripping the waterproof finish. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can clog the pores of the breathable fabric. To reactivate the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish after washing, tumble dry on a low heat setting or follow the garment's internal care label exactly. Ensure the jacket is fully dry before storing it for the off-season. For compatibility, the jacket is designed as a standalone outer shell, though its thermal properties are sufficient that most children will only need a light base layer underneath for optimal comfort.
