Rode WS12 Windshield - Grey

The WS12 is specifically designed for the RØDE VideoMic GO II. While it might partially fit other microphones, it is not guaranteed to provide optimal performance or a secure fit for models other than the VideoMic GO II.

Gently brush the fur with a soft brush to remove loose debris. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and let it air dry completely.

The WS12 is designed to be acoustically transparent, meaning it minimizes wind noise with minimal impact on the microphone's natural sound. However, extreme conditions may still introduce slight alterations.

The synthetic rubber seal is designed to block any unused USB-C or 3.5mm sockets on the VideoMic GO II, preventing wind from entering the microphone from the rear and causing unwanted noise.

The WS12 offers protection against wind noise. It is not designed to be waterproof. Prolonged exposure to heavy rain may damage the microphone and the windshield.

The WS12 has a diameter of 8.5 cm and a length of 98.5 mm.

Ensure the windshield is fully seated on the microphone and that the wind seal is properly placed in any unused sockets. Check for any tears or damage to the fur or foam.

Verify that you are using the WS12 with the RØDE VideoMic GO II. The fit should be snug but not forced. Ensure no obstructions are preventing proper placement.
