Universal application screws. Features a 4CUT point for exact screw positioning, reducing splitting and the torque required for screwing. Countersinks easily for a quick and secure fastening. Mills into the wood and stops on metal. Equipped with a Pozi bit recess. No pre-drilling is required, depending on the wood type. Available in metric sizes, these Pozi drive, countersunk wood screws are ideal for most wood applications without splitting the material. Manufactured from steel with a yellow zinc plating, the 4 cut-point bores into the wood, dividing fibres while the ground, precise serrations prevent splitting. The countersunk head allows the product to sit flush for a smooth finish. Available in various metric sizes and box quantities. Manufactured from durable steel for longevity. Zinc plated, yellow passivated finish enhances resistance to rust, weathering, and chemicals. Typical applications include chipboard, softwood, hardwood, plywood, and MDF. Increased flexibility for universal use in wood, chipboard, MDF, plastic, and thin metal sheets. The Multihead features cutting ribs for easy countersinking and screw head ribs to reduce thread stripping when fixing hinges. A deeper recess in the screw head ensures a stronger bit hold. The 4CUT Point prevents splitting, even near edges, and negates the need for pre-drilling in hard woods, with the screw point taking immediate hold. Ground Serrations reduce driving torque and have a hard synthetic coating for easy driving and ultimate holding power. The patented MULTIhead has moulding and stopping qualities, with ridges that mould into the wood surface, trimming the drilled hole. The head drives home flush quickly and easily. SPAX offers trouble-free fastening in hard and soft wood, plastics, thin metal sheet, and extruded profiles. Please Note: Spax is phasing out the yellow finish S series screws and replacing them with a silver finish. We cannot guarantee which type you will receive until this changeover is complete.
