The 9060 offers a modern take on the iconic New Balance running collection, boasting a chunky construction with a futuristic design that takes its cues from the Y2K era. Its mixed-texture upper combines breathable mesh, soft suede, and luxurious leather in a 'Dusk Shower' with 'Castlerock' colourway, while the 'Slate Grey' 'N' branding on the sidewall adds a touch of heritage. The midsole features ABZORB technology, ensuring stability and comfort wherever the day takes you. The 9060 is a new expression of the refined style and innovation-driven design of the classic 99X series. The 9060 reinterprets familiar elements of the 99X series, with a renewed sensitivity, inspired by the proud, futuristic, and visually technological aesthetic of the 2000s. Sway bars, taken from the 990, are expanded and used throughout the upper to convey visible movement, and the wavy lines and enlarged proportions on the sculpted pod midsole emphasize the familiar cushioning systems of ABZORB and SBS.
