Thermal Mapping Technology is Canada Goose's approach to strategically placing insulation. It ensures that down fill is concentrated in areas where the body needs the most warmth, while reducing bulk in areas prone to overheating.

The nylon panels offer some water resistance, but the down fill is not effectively insulated when wet, and the Merino wool is not waterproof. It is best suited for dry or lightly wet conditions. For heavy rain, a waterproof outer layer is recommended.

The rib-knit cuffs provide a snug fit around the wrists, helping to seal out cold air and prevent drafts, while also adding a refined aesthetic detail.

This can occasionally happen with down-filled products. Gently pull the feather back from the inside of the fabric if possible. Avoid pulling aggressively, as this can enlarge the hole.
