The Berghaus Trango Lightweight Jacket is an ideal choice for outdoor enthusiasts and style-conscious hikers looking for a versatile, 90s-inspired outer layer that balances protection with portability. Engineered from durable, water- and wind-resistant nylon, this jacket provides reliable shielding against the elements without adding bulk to your kit, though it is intended for light-to-moderate weather rather than extreme, heavy-duty mountain storm conditions.

It is water-resistant, meaning it is designed to repel light rain and mist but is not fully seam-sealed or waterproof for heavy storms.
It is not insulated, so it is best used as a wind-blocking shell layered over a fleece or base layer for colder conditions.
The hood features a roll-up function, allowing you to fold and secure it when not in use.
The jacket is constructed from high-quality, durable nylon, selected for its balance of weight and toughness.
Berghaus provides a warranty on manufacturing defects. Please check your specific retailer's policy or the official Berghaus website for registration.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating has likely worn off; wash the garment and apply a re-waterproofing spray.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the track and gently clean the teeth with a soft toothbrush to remove dirt or debris.
To keep your jacket in peak condition, always zip the front and side pockets before washing to prevent snagging on other items. Machine wash on a gentle, cold cycle using a mild detergent designed for technical outerwear. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip the water-resistant coating from the nylon fibers.
For drying, air-drying is recommended; hang the jacket on a sturdy hanger in a shaded area away from direct heat sources. If you notice the water-beading effect (DWR) diminishing over time, you can refresh it by applying a technical garment spray while the jacket is clean and damp, then following the product instructions for heat activation.
