Setup & Installation
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories from the oven.
- Placement: Ensure the oven is installed into a suitable kitchen cabinet niche. The niche dimensions required are 585 mm - 595 mm (H) x 560 mm - 568 mm (W) x 550 mm (D).
- Electrical Connection: The oven requires a nominal voltage of 220 - 240 V and has a total connected load of 3.6 kW. It comes with a 120 cm cable. It's recommended that installation and electrical connection be performed by a qualified electrician to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- Accessories: Insert the two combination grids and one universal pan as required for your cooking needs.
> Info needed: Specific instructions for initial burn-off/cleaning cycle before first use.
Compatibility
- Home Connect: To utilize the Home Connect features, you will need a compatible smartphone (iOS or Android) and a stable Wi-Fi network connection. The Home Connect app needs to be downloaded and set up. It also integrates with Amazon Alexa for voice control, requiring an Alexa-enabled device.
- Cabinetry: Designed for standard built-in oven niches. Ensure your kitchen cabinetry meets the specified dimensions.
Care & Maintenance
- EcoClean® Direct: The oven's back panel features a special ceramic coating that automatically breaks down grease and food residue during regular use, especially at higher temperatures. For optimal performance, run the oven at 270°C for approximately 1 hour occasionally to activate the self-cleaning properties.
- EasyClean: This function is designed for quick cleaning of light soiling. Pour approximately 400ml of water and a drop of washing-up liquid into the bottom of the oven and select the EasyClean program. The steam will soften baked-on residue, making it easier to wipe away once cooled.
- General Cleaning: For the rest of the oven interior and exterior, use a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scourers, especially on the display and coated surfaces. The full glass inner door can be wiped clean with a glass cleaner.
- Residual Heat Indicator: Take advantage of the residual heat indicator to avoid accidental burns and save energy by using the remaining heat to keep food warm or for minor cooking tasks.
- Door Contact Switch: The door contact switch automatically turns off the oven when the door is opened, enhancing safety and preventing heat loss. Keep this area clean and free from obstructions.
