Raptor Flameproof Paint is designed for automotive enthusiasts and restoration professionals who need a durable, heat-resistant finish for exhaust manifolds, headers, and exhaust systems. This advanced ceramic-based formula provides a professional-grade coating that withstands temperatures up to 1000°C, offering five times the toughness of standard paints. While it delivers an exceptionally durable, oil-resistant finish, users should be aware that the paint requires proper curing steps to achieve its maximum heat resistance and hardness.

It is designed to bond directly to properly prepared metal, but ensure the surface is completely free of contaminants.
Yes, it is suitable for components that reach high temperatures, provided they are prepped correctly.
Typically, one 400ml can is sufficient for a standard set of automotive headers, but this depends on the length and coverage density.
You should wait for the paint to fully air dry to touch, and remember that full chemical and heat resistance occurs after the heat-cure process.
It is not recommended. For best results, remove old paint or rust to ensure the ceramic coating bonds directly to the metal.
This usually indicates the surface was not clean or had residual grease/oil. Strip the paint, clean thoroughly with a degreaser, and re-apply.
Shake the can more aggressively for at least two minutes. If the issue persists, turn the can upside down and spray for 3 seconds to clear the nozzle line.
Ensure you are applying light, overlapping coats rather than one heavy layer. Maintain a distance of 20-30cm from the surface.
To ensure success, all surfaces must be free of rust, grease, and dirt; using a wax and grease remover is highly recommended before spraying. While the paint adheres to most steel and alloys, ensure the base metal is completely dry. Apply in a well-ventilated area at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C. For long-term care, avoid using harsh abrasive cleaners on the painted surface. If minor touch-ups are needed, ensure the surface is cool and clean before reapplying. Always shake the can vigorously for at least two minutes before starting to ensure the high-heat pigments are fully mixed.
