Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
- Unboxing: Remove your new Nike Air Max Muse from the packaging. Inspect for any manufacturing defects or shipping damage.
- Initial Fit: Try on the shoes with the type of socks you typically wear. Ensure there's a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the end of the shoe.
- Lacing: Lace them comfortably. Avoid lacing too tightly, which can restrict blood flow, or too loosely, which can lead to instability.
- Break-In: Wear them for short periods initially to allow the material to conform to your foot shape. Air Max units generally don't require a 'break-in' period, but the upper materials might.
Compatibility
- Attire: These sneakers pair well with casual and athleisure wear such as jeans, leggings, joggers, shorts, casual dresses, and skirts. Their sleek black design makes them highly versatile.
- Activities: Best suited for daily walking, casual social events, light urban exploration, and everyday commuting.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your Nike Air Max Muse.
- General Cleaning: Use a soft brush or cloth to gently wipe away loose dirt and dust from the upper and sole.
- Spot Cleaning: For stubborn marks, use a mild soap (like diluted dish soap) and a damp cloth. Gently rub the affected area. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Leather Variants: If your shoes have leather components (as some FV1920-003 variants do), use a specialized leather cleaner and conditioner to maintain the material's integrity and prevent cracking.
- Drying: Always air dry your shoes away from direct heat sources (like radiators or direct sunlight), as excessive heat can damage materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Consider using shoe trees to help maintain their shape.
