A tough stain won't come out with simple blotting.

Since the rug is machine washable, you can treat stubborn stains by pre-treating them with a mild stain remover suitable for polypropylene before washing the entire rug at 40 degrees Celsius in a washing machine. Always test stain removers on an inconspicuous area first.

The rug's shaggy pile looks flattened or matted in some areas.

Regular vacuuming can help lift and fluff the pile. For stubborn flattened areas, gently brush the pile with your fingers or a soft brush, or try gently shaking the rug if its size permits. Allow it to air out to regain its texture.
