Clarks Desert Boots generally fit true to size for most wearers. However, suede can be forgiving, and some prefer to size down if they are between sizes or prefer a snugger fit.

Use a dedicated suede brush to remove surface dirt. For tougher stains, a suede cleaner is recommended. Always perform a spot test first. Avoid using water extensively, as it can alter the suede's texture.

It is not recommended to wear suede Desert Boots in heavy rain. Suede is not waterproof and can be easily stained or damaged by water. The crepe sole can also become slippery when wet.

The sole is made of an authentic, natural crepe rubber, which provides cushioning and a distinctive look.

Regularly brush your boots after each wear to remove dust and dirt. A more thorough cleaning with a suede cleaner should be done as needed, typically when stains or significant marks appear.

The Desert Boot was first released by Clarks in 1950. Inspired by a boot found in the Cairo bazaar during WWII, its simple, progressive design quickly became a global footwear revolution, adopted by various subcultures.

The natural crepe sole offers some cushioning and flexibility, but the boots do not feature specialized arch support structures. For additional support, insoles can be added.

Gently brush with a suede eraser or a specialized suede cleaner. Test any cleaner on an inconspicuous area first.

Wipe with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution. For stubborn marks, a crepe-specific cleaner might be effective. Allow to air dry completely.
