While the Air-Cooled Memory Foam® insole helps with comfort and breathability, wearing socks is generally recommended to help absorb moisture, reduce friction, and keep the shoes fresh.

It is recommended to hand wash these shoes. Use a soft cloth with mild soap and water to clean the mesh and synthetic upper. Air dry them away from direct heat. Do not machine wash.

Ensure the shoe is the correct size. If it's too small, the Heel Pillow™ may not engage properly. Guide the foot straight into the shoe; a slight wiggle can help. For initial wears, a small assist with a finger may be needed until the material molds slightly.

The fit of slip-ins is crucial. If too loose, the heel may slip out. If too tight, it will be hard to put on. Verify the child's current foot size against the shoe size. Consider trying a half size up or down if available.

Ensure the shoes are aired out after each wear. If possible, remove insoles to dry thoroughly. Using moisture-wicking socks and/or foot powder can also help prevent odor buildup.

Check the outsole for dirt, mud, or small stones that might be impacting grip. Clean the outsole thoroughly. If the tread is significantly worn, it may be time to consider new footwear for optimal safety.
