How long does the protection last?
The sealer provides protection that can last up to 5 years, depending on traffic and environmental conditions.
Can I apply this if rain is forecast?
No, you must ensure there is no risk of rain for at least 8 hours after application to allow the sealer to cure properly.
What is the coverage rate?
The coverage rate is approximately 1 litre per 3m² for the first coat and 1 litre per 6m² for the second coat.

Troubleshooting
Surface remains tacky after application.
This can occur if applied too thickly or if the temperature dropped significantly after application. Ensure correct coverage rates are used and avoid application in extreme temperatures. Allow longer for curing.
Weeds are still growing in the joints.
Ensure the jointing sand was fully stabilised by the sealer. This requires thorough application, especially on the first coat, and ensuring no jointing sand remained in the chamfers before application. Reapplication might be necessary if coverage was inadequate.
Uneven finish or patches.
Likely due to inconsistent application or not removing surplus liquid effectively. Ensure even distribution and immediate removal of excess with a squeegee during application.
Sealer is peeling or chipping.
This usually indicates poor adhesion. Ensure the surface was completely dry and free from dirt and contaminants before application. Avoid application on non-concrete block paving materials.
White marks or 'blooming' appear.
Can be caused by moisture trapped beneath the sealer, often due to applying in damp conditions or if rain occurred too soon after application. Ensure the surface is bone dry and protected from rain for the recommended period.
