Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Unbuckle: Upon receiving your Jack Wills Mule Sandals, simply unbuckle the adjustable strap.
- Slide In: Place your foot into the sandal, ensuring it is comfortably seated in the moulded footbed.
- Adjust: Fasten and adjust the strap to achieve a comfortable yet secure fit. The strap should hold your foot gently without being too tight or too loose.
The moulded footbed is designed to adapt to your foot's unique contours over time, becoming even more comfortable with wear.

Their versatile design makes them compatible with a wide array of casual and smart-casual outfits, from linen trousers to jeans or shorts. They are a great complement to your everyday wardrobe.
Care and Maintenance
Proper care for your leather sandals will ensure their longevity and maintain their premium look and feel.
- Cleaning Leather: For general cleaning, gently wipe the leather upper with a soft, slightly damp cloth. For more stubborn dirt or scuffs, use a specialized leather cleaner or conditioner, following the product's instructions. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
- Conditioning: To keep the leather supple, prevent drying, and avoid cracking, regularly apply a high-quality leather conditioner. This also helps to restore its natural sheen.
- Drying: If your sandals become wet, allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources (such as radiators, fireplaces, or direct sunlight). Direct heat can cause the leather to stiffen, crack, or warp. You can stuff the sandals loosely with newspaper to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape.
- Sole Care: The hard-wearing rubber sole can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
- Storage: Store your sandals in a cool, dry place when not in use. To help maintain their shape, consider using shoe trees or stuffing them lightly with paper. Avoid storing them in direct sunlight or in humid environments for extended periods.
