The FloatPro™ foam midsole offers superior energy return, meaning it bounces back with each stride. This helps reduce fatigue and provides a more responsive feel, making it ideal for long-distance running.

The forefoot rock plate is a protective layer integrated into the sole. It shields your feet from sharp rocks, roots, and other underfoot hazards commonly found on trails, preventing bruising and injury.

While designed for a secure fit, the width can vary. It's recommended to try them on or check specific sizing guides, as the fit may accommodate average to slightly wider feet, but individuals with significantly wide feet may need to consider alternatives or custom insoles.

Trail running shoes typically last between 300-500 miles (500-800 km) of use, depending on the terrain, your running style, and the shoe's maintenance. Look for signs of wear on the outsole, midsole compression, or upper damage.

It is not recommended to machine wash the Merrell Agility Peak 6. Hand washing with cool water and mild soap, followed by air drying, is the best method for preserving the shoe's materials and structure.

Ensure the Vibram® Megagrip outsole is clean. Mud or debris can affect grip. If the issue persists after cleaning, the outsole may be worn and require replacement.

Check the lacing for tightness and pressure points. Ensure you have the correct size; a fit that is too tight or too loose can cause discomfort. Consider trying different sock types.

Verify that the FlexConnect™ technology is functioning as intended. Ensure the shoe is the correct size and that the lacing provides adequate support for your foot.

This can sometimes occur due to moisture between layers or the outsole. Try drying the shoes thoroughly. If the noise persists, it may be a characteristic of the materials.
