Setup Instructions
- Unpack and Prepare: Gently remove the curtains from their packaging and shake them out to release any minor creases. Lay them flat or hang them loosely for a short period to allow gravity to further reduce wrinkles.
- Install Curtain Rod: Ensure you have a curtain rod securely installed above your window frame. For optimal coverage and aesthetic, the rod should extend approximately 15-30cm (6-12 inches) beyond the window frame on each side.
- Thread Eyelets: Begin threading the eyelet rings onto the curtain rod. To achieve a classic wave-like drape, alternate the direction of the fabric folds as you thread (e.g., front of the curtain forward, then back of the curtain forward for the next eyelet).
- Adjust and Style: Once all eyelets are on the rod, slide the curtains to your desired position and adjust the folds evenly to create a neat, uniform appearance. Ensure the curtains hang level.
Compatibility
These Paoletti Galaxy Eyelet Curtains are specifically designed for use with a standard curtain rod. They are not compatible with curtain tracks, hooks, or other non-rod-based hanging systems. Verify that your curtain rod's diameter is smaller than the eyelet rings to allow for smooth and effortless movement of the curtains.
Care Instructions
To maintain the luxurious appearance and durability of your chenille eyelet curtains, follow these care guidelines:
- Regular Cleaning: Dust or gently vacuum the curtains regularly using an upholstery attachment to prevent dust build-up.
- Spot Cleaning: For small spills, gently blot the area with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid harsh rubbing.
- Washing: As the curtains are 100% polyester, they are generally durable. However, always refer to the specific care label attached to your curtains for detailed washing instructions. Typically, a gentle machine wash or professional dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the fabric's integrity and shimmer. Avoid using harsh detergents or bleach.
- Drying: Line dry or tumble dry on a low setting if permitted by the care label. Remove promptly to minimize wrinkles.
- Ironing: If necessary, iron on a low heat setting on the reverse side, using a pressing cloth to protect the chenille fabric and its highlights.
