The Mountain Warehouse Ski Jacket & Pants Set is an ideal choice for female skiers and winter enthusiasts looking for comprehensive thermal protection and snow-ready features in one coordinated package. Designed with microfibre padding and water-resistant technology, it offers excellent heat retention and snow protection for long days on the mountain. Please note that while the fabric is treated with a durable water-repellent finish, it is intended to be snowproof rather than fully waterproof for extreme, prolonged storm conditions.

The set is treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish to make it snowproof, meaning it resists moisture from snow effectively. It is not classified as fully waterproof for heavy or prolonged rain.
Yes, the elasticated braces are designed to be removable, allowing you to wear the pants with or without them depending on your preference.
It is best to wash the garments on a gentle cycle using a technical detergent designed for outdoor clothing. Avoid fabric softeners and high-heat drying.
The hood is adjustable for a comfortable fit, though compatibility with a helmet will depend on the size and shape of your specific helmet.
The insulation is a synthetic microfibre filling, providing excellent heat retention and a lightweight alternative to down.
No, the snowskirt is fully integrated and attached to the jacket to ensure maximum snow protection.
Ensure the internal snow gaiters are pulled down securely over your ski boots and that the ankle zips are fully closed.
If water stops beading on the surface, the DWR coating may need refreshing. Use a DWR spray-on or wash-in treatment to restore the water-resistant properties.
Check your layering system. Ensure you are wearing a thermal base layer to trap body heat, as the jacket is most effective when paired with insulating base layers.
To ensure the longevity of your gear, always follow the care label instructions. Typically, this involves using a technical wash specifically formulated for DWR-treated garments to maintain the snow-repellent finish. Avoid fabric softeners, as they can damage the performance of the synthetic padding. When adjusting the fit, ensure the braces are tensioned comfortably so they support the pants without pulling on your shoulders. The set is designed to be compatible with standard ski boots and helmets; the hood is adjustable to accommodate different head sizes and can often fit over slimline helmets.
