The stretch jersey is designed for comfort and ease of movement, though polyester is less breathable than natural fibers like cotton or linen.
While intended as a skirt, its high-waisted, stretchy design may allow it to be pulled up and styled as a tube-top dress for some body types.
The fabric is durable and colorfast, but we recommend washing inside-out on a cold, gentle cycle to preserve the vibrancy of the print.
It is designed as a floor-length maxi, but length varies slightly by size. It is best suited for average to tall heights.
No, the jersey material is lightweight, packable, and designed to drape fluidly without adding unnecessary bulk.
Lightly mist the fabric with water or use an anti-static spray on the inside of the skirt.
Ensure the fold-over section is fully flattened and distributed evenly around the torso for maximum friction and support.
Use a delicate fabric shaver or carefully trim loose threads, taking care not to cut the main structure of the jersey knit.
As a pull-on garment, the Hot Squash Boho Maxi Skirt requires no complex setup. Ensure you select your appropriate UK dress size for the best fit around the hips and waist. To maintain the integrity of the stretch jersey, machine wash on a gentle cycle with like colors. Because the material is highly resistant to creasing, it does not typically require ironing; however, if you choose to press it, use a low heat setting to prevent damaging the synthetic fibers. Store by folding flat or hanging to keep the waistband elastic in prime condition.
