This Bosch Professional HSS-G metal drill bit, manufactured to DIN 340 standards, measures 3mm in diameter, has a flute length of 66mm, and an overall length of 100mm. It is designed for drilling deep holes in various metals, including alloyed and non-alloyed steel, cast steel, cast iron, sintered iron, malleable cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and hard plastics. The drill bit features a 135-degree self-centring split-point tip for active cutting and perfect centring without wandering, eliminating the need for pre-punching or pilot drilling for holes up to 10mm. This precision-ground bit made of HSS (high-speed steel) offers a faster drilling rate and lower feed pressure compared to standard-ground HSS drill bits. It has a Type N flute angle, a diameter tolerance of h8, and a cylindrical shank system compatible with drill stands and drill drivers.
