The PointTeQ tip is designed to prevent wandering. For extremely hard surfaces, using a centre punch to create a small mark before drilling can further aid in precise starting.

This drill bit has a standard cylindrical shank, compatible with common three-jaw drill chucks.

While designed for increased drilling rate, excessive speed can cause overheating. It's recommended to use slower speeds with higher torque when drilling metal.

The black-oxide coating on the flute aids in rapid chip removal, preventing the bit from getting clogged and ensuring more efficient drilling.

While suitable for steel, extremely hardened steels or rebar may require specialized drill bits designed for such tough materials. This bit is best for standard construction and engineering steels.

Ensure the drill chuck is clean and free of debris. Tighten the chuck firmly around the cylindrical shank. If the shank is damaged, the bit may need replacement.
