Regatta Pack-It III Waterproof Packaway Jacket - Pink

The jacket uses Regatta's Isotex 5000 fabric, which is a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the fabric while allowing water vapor (sweat) to escape. The taped seams further ensure no water can seep through the stitching.

Machine wash at 40°C on a delicate cycle with similar colours. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach. Do not iron. Tumble dry on low or hang dry. Re-apply a DWR treatment periodically to maintain water repellency.

The jacket is unlined and primarily designed for waterproof and windproof protection. It is not heavily insulated. For cold weather, layering with a fleece or warm mid-layer underneath is recommended.

It is designed to pack away into its own stuff sack, making it very compact and easy to carry in a backpack or bag, ideal for unpredictable weather.

The Isotex 5000 fabric has a breathability rating of 15,000 g/m²/24 hours, meaning it allows a significant amount of moisture vapor to pass through.

While the jacket is breathable, for very strenuous activities where you sweat heavily, you might experience some internal moisture buildup. It is best suited for moderate outdoor activities like hiking and walking.

The jacket is made from 100% Polyamide (Nylon) fabric, weighing 80 gsm.

The durable water repellent (DWR) finish may have worn off. Consider re-applying a DWR treatment suitable for waterproof fabrics. Ensure the taped seams are intact.

This can occur during high-intensity exercise where perspiration exceeds the fabric's breathability capacity. Ensure you are wearing appropriate breathable base layers and consider loosening the jacket slightly if possible. The DWR finish may also need refreshing.

Check that the shock cord is not tangled. Gently pull the cord ends to adjust the fit around the face.

Ensure the jacket is completely dry and as flat as possible before attempting to roll or stuff it. Do not force it, as this could damage the fabric.
