Deco Art Enchanted Shimmer Paint is a translucent topcoat. It is designed to be applied over other colors to add an iridescent shimmer, rather than used as a standalone opaque paint.

This paint is versatile and can be used on wood, canvas, metal, ceramic, glass, plastic, and more. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.

For the most striking effect, apply this paint as a topcoat over a dark or contrasting base color. Ensure the paint is thoroughly mixed and applied in thin, even layers. The color shift is most apparent in varying light conditions.

While the paint dries to a durable finish, applying a clear acrylic sealant or varnish over the dried paint can provide extra protection and enhance the longevity of the finish, especially on items that will be handled frequently.

Store the paint in its original, tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the lid is properly secured to prevent drying out.

You can mix it with other acrylic paints to create custom iridescent colors, but be aware that mixing with opaque colors will dilute the iridescent effect. It's best used as a topcoat for maximum shimmer.

Deco Art Enchanted Shimmer features larger iridescent particles than many standard shimmer paints, creating a more pronounced and unique sparkle. It also offers a more dynamic color-shifting effect based on light angle.

Shake the bottle vigorously for at least 30 seconds before use. If clumping persists, try straining the paint through a fine mesh sieve.
