Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your HOKA Challenger 8 trainers last as long as possible, follow these guidelines:
- Breaking In: While comfortable out of the box, perform a few short walks or light runs to allow the foam to adapt to your foot strike.
- Cleaning: After muddy trail runs, allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources. Remove dried mud with a soft brush.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid keeping them in direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent material degradation.
- Maintenance: Regularly inspect the outsole lugs for trapped rocks or debris that could affect traction. The mesh upper can be wiped with a damp cloth if necessary; avoid submerging in a washing machine.
