Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Skechers trainers last, follow these care guidelines:
- Breaking In: These shoes generally fit true to size. If you have a wider foot, you may find the leather takes a few days of wear to adapt fully to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dust. For dirt on the leather, use a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking the shoes or using harsh chemicals that could crack the leather.
- Drying: Always air dry at room temperature. Never place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in the dryer, as this can damage the glue and warp the leather.
- Protection: Consider applying a leather protectant spray to repel water and prevent stains.
