Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Ensure the substrate (brick, concrete, or stone) is clean and free of loose debris.
- Drilling: Drill holes with an 8mm diameter drill bit, ensuring the depth matches the plug's 60mm length. Use a drill suitable for the substrate material.
- Insertion: Insert the Drybase Plaster Membrane Plugs into the pre-drilled holes.
- Installation: Use a hammer to drive the plugs flush with the surface. Avoid over-hammering.
- Membrane Attachment: Attach the plaster membrane over the plugs and secure it according to the membrane manufacturer's instructions.
Compatibility: These plugs are specifically designed for use with Drybase plaster membranes and compatible with various plastering systems. Always refer to the plaster membrane's installation guide for specific instructions.
Care: No special care is required after installation. Ensure the plugs are installed correctly to maintain a damp-proof seal. Regularly inspect the plaster membrane for any signs of damage or moisture.
