This tape is specifically designed to work best with latex and emulsion paints, as the PaintBlock Technology activates with these types. It may not provide the same level of bleed protection with oil-based paints or solvents.

For the best results and to prevent residue, it is recommended to remove the tape while the paint is still slightly wet, typically within 24 hours of application. Leaving it on for extended periods or until fully cured may make removal more difficult and increase the risk of paint peeling.
