Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before your first hike, ensure you have selected the correct size, keeping in mind the recommendation to size up. Break the shoes in by wearing them on shorter walks before heading out on a full-day expedition. To care for your Terrex AX4 shoes, remove loose mud after each hike using a soft brush. If they become heavily soiled, hand wash them with warm water and a mild detergent; avoid machine washing or tumble drying, as high heat can damage the synthetic materials and the integrity of the EVA midsole. Air dry them in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
