Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before applying the paint, ensure that all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. For best results, sand down previously painted surfaces to ensure proper mechanical adhesion. If applying to metal, ensure an appropriate primer is used beforehand to prevent oxidation and ensure the paint bonds correctly. Use high-quality synthetic brushes for wood or a short-pile mohair roller for larger flat areas like doors. To maintain the finish, simply use a damp, soft cloth to remove surface dirt; avoid abrasive sponges or harsh chemical cleaners which can dull the eggshell sheen over time.
