FAQs

Is this robe waterproof or just water-resistant?

The robe is constructed from high-quality waterproof material designed to protect you from rain and wind effectively.

Can I wear this while swimming?

No, this robe is designed for use after swimming or for changing, not for use inside the water.

How do I choose the right size?

The robe features an oversized fit intended for layering. The Medium (M) size is designed to be spacious enough for most adults to change underneath comfortably.

Is the sherpa fleece lining removable?

No, the fleece lining is integrated into the design to ensure maximum warmth and durability.

What is the best way to store the robe?

Store it in a cool, dry place on a sturdy hanger to maintain its shape and ensure the waterproof membrane remains uncreased.

Troubleshooting

Water beading is no longer effective on the outer shell

The durable water repellent (DWR) coating may have worn off; consider using a specialized outdoor gear re-waterproofing spray.

Fleece lining feels clumped or flattened

Wash the robe on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on the lowest heat setting with a clean tennis ball to help fluff the sherpa lining.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent wind and water resistance
Soft, insulating sherpa fleece lining
Designed for discreet changing in public
Versatile for multiple outdoor activities
Durable construction for long-term use

Cons

Oversized fit may be too bulky for some users
Not intended for high-intensity physical exertion
Requires careful storage to maintain waterproof integrity

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep your robe in top condition, avoid using harsh detergents or fabric softeners, as these can strip the waterproof coating from the shell. For cleaning, machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and air dry whenever possible to preserve the integrity of the fleece. If you find the exterior gets dirty, a damp cloth is often sufficient to wipe away mud or surface grime. The robe is designed as an 'all-in-one' garment and is best paired with base layers for maximum heat retention in sub-zero temperatures.
