Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Mountain Fly 2 Low shoes remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Breaking-in: Wear the shoes for short durations on flat surfaces before embarking on long, technical hikes to allow the materials to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: After muddy adventures, allow mud to dry before brushing it off with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid submerging the shoes in water if possible to preserve the material integrity.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can degrade the adhesive and rubber over time.
- Compatibility: Best paired with moisture-wicking wool or synthetic hiking socks to prevent blisters during long treks.
