Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
Setting up your child's Crocs Classic Lined Clog K is simple:
- Sizing Check: Ensure the clogs fit comfortably. There should be a small space (about a finger's width) behind the heel when the foot is pushed forward, and toes should not touch the front.
- Heel Strap Adjustment: Demonstrate how to pivot the heel strap forward for a relaxed slide or back over the heel for a more secure fit. Encourage your child to choose the mode that feels most comfortable and secure for their activity.
Compatibility
- Jibbitz Charms: These clogs are compatible with all official Crocs Jibbitz charms. Simply push the charm's peg through the holes on the upper part of the clog from the outside in, then push it down until the black base snaps into place. To remove, push from the inside of the clog.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care will help maintain the life and comfort of your child's lined clogs:
- Cleaning: For general cleaning, hand wash the clogs with cold water and mild soap. Gently scrub any dirty areas. For the fuzzy liner, you can use a soft brush or cloth. Allow them to air dry completely. Do NOT use harsh chemicals or put them in a washing machine or dryer, as this can damage the material and lining.
- Heat Exposure: Avoid leaving the clogs in direct sunlight or high heat (e.g., in a hot car, near a heater). Extreme heat can cause the Croslite material to shrink or warp.
- Drying: Ensure the clogs, especially the liner, are fully dry before your child wears them again to prevent odor or discomfort.
