FAQs

Who is the Callaway Quantum Max Women's Driver intended for?

This driver is designed for adult female golfers who want a balance of speed, stability, and versatility from the tee. It suits a wide range of ability levels looking for consistent performance.

How does the adjustable weighting work?

The driver features a 10g adjustable perimeter weight that can be moved to create either a neutral or a draw-biased ball flight. This helps golfers tune their shot shape for better accuracy.

What does AI-Optimised Face Architecture mean?

It means Callaway used artificial intelligence to design the clubface. By analyzing how different materials interact, they've fine-tuned the face's flexibility to optimize ball speed, spin, launch angle, and accuracy for common impact points.

Can I adjust the loft and lie angle?

Yes, the driver has an OptiFit hosel that offers eight independent settings for loft and lie adjustment, allowing you to precisely control your trajectory and ball curvature.

What shaft options are available?

The standard shaft is the Mitsubishi Chemical Eldio 40, designed for women's swing speeds. Other premium shaft options are available through custom fitting only.

How do I clean the clubface?

Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the clubface after each use to remove dirt and debris. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Is this driver suitable for beginners?

Yes, its player-friendly profile and built-in forgiveness features make it suitable for beginners, while its adjustability also caters to more experienced players.

Troubleshooting

Driver feels less stable or generates unexpected spin.

Ensure the adjustable perimeter weight is securely tightened in the desired position (neutral or draw bias). Check the OptiFit hosel setting is locked and stable.

Ball flight is consistently too high or too low.

Adjust the loft using the OptiFit hosel settings. Consult the adjustment guide for specific loft changes and their impact on launch angle.

The adjustment tool seems loose or ineffective.

Ensure you are using the correct Callaway adjustment tool. If the issue persists, contact Callaway customer support for a replacement tool or assistance.

Reduced distance compared to previous driver.

Verify that the face technology is clean and free from debris. Ensure the shaft and loft settings are appropriate for your swing speed and tempo. Consider a professional fitting.

  • Offers adjustability for shot shape control (neutral or draw bias).
  • AI-optimized face architecture enhances consistency and accuracy.
  • Player-friendly profile inspires confidence at address.
  • Multiple loft and lie settings for fine-tuning trajectory.

Cons

  • Optimal performance may require custom fitting for shaft and grip.
  • Some advanced features might be complex for complete beginners.
  • Left-handed availability is custom only for certain lofts.
  • Focuses on a blend of performance characteristics, which might not suit extreme swing types without fitting.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The driver features an adjustable hosel and perimeter weighting. The OptiFit hosel allows for independent adjustment of loft and lie angles across eight settings. Consult the included manual or a Callaway fitting professional to understand how to adjust these settings using the provided tool. The APW weight can be moved between the neutral and draw bias positions by loosening a screw, repositioning the weight, and retightening.

Compatibility: This driver is designed for adult female golfers. The Mitsubishi Chemical Eldio 40 shaft is specifically designed for women's swing speeds, offering high launch and high spin characteristics. The Lamkin ST Soft grip is a standard size. Custom fitting is recommended to ensure the shaft and grip options best complement your unique swing.

Care: To maintain performance, regularly clean the clubface with a damp cloth after use to remove dirt and grass. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Store the driver in its headcover to protect the finish and the adjustable hosel mechanism. Periodically check that all adjustable weights and hosel settings are secure.
